Supreme Court: No Patent for Natural Process
WASHINGTON (MedPage Today) — The U.S. Supreme Court has unanimously invalidated two patents for thiopurine testing held by Promethius Laboratories, decreeing that the processes used in the test are natural and cannot be patented.
